Transparency and quality
PNG images are embedded in the PDF without re-encoding, so sharp edges, text and UI screenshots stay crisp. Transparent areas stay transparent: they print as white and show the viewer's background on screen. If you would rather have a solid backdrop, choose a margin and a fixed page size such as A4.

Will the PDF be large? It will be about the size of the PNG files added together, because the image data is kept as-is. For photos, JPG usually gives a smaller PDF than PNG.
