What helps us fix a bug quickly

1. The tool you used, as a link to its page.
2. Your browser and device, for example "Chrome on an iPhone 15" or "Firefox on Windows 11".
3. What you did, what you expected and what happened instead. A screenshot of an error message is ideal.
4. A file that shows the problem, only if it contains nothing private. We never ask for your files otherwise, and the tools never upload them. If the file is private, the file type and its size are enough to start.

Reporting a security problem

Write to security@pietoolkit.com with the page or endpoint concerned, the steps that show the problem and, if you have one, a proof of concept. Please do not test against other visitors' sessions or try to pull data from our servers beyond what proves the point. We confirm receipt, fix confirmed problems before we talk about them in public, and credit you if you want to be credited. The machine-readable version of this is our security.txt.

Asking for a tool

Tell us the job, not just the format pair: "merge the scans from my phone into one PDF under 2 MB" says more than "PDF merge". Requests are collected together with the searches on the site that found no tool, and the jobs asked for most often are built first. A short note saying which tool you miss really does count.

How fast we answer

A person reads every message. Security reports and bug reports get the first replies. Questions that a page already answers get a link to that page, and the page gets fixed if it was unclear. We write back in English.

What happens to your message

A message sent through the form goes to our server and is kept for 365 days, then deleted. Your email address is optional; without it we cannot reply, but we still read the message. Nothing else is attached to it: no account, no tracking identifier, no file. If the form is not available, the page shows the email address instead. The privacy policy has the full list of what we keep.
